Yvonee’s A-ha Moment
Most of our surgical weight loss patients come back to us and share everyday things that they were not able to do before surgery. We call these “A-ha” moments. These tasks are normally taken for granted by people who have never struggled with weight. Imagine not being able to do something as simple as buckling your seat belt. To our patients, the ability to experience these things without struggle is a true realization.
Making the decision to change your lifestyle isn’t always easy. We congratulate and applaud our weight loss warriors and share their “A-ha” moments with you as inspiration:
” I can sit down in a seat and not worry about if it’s going to hold me. I can get on a bus or airplane and not see the look of horror looking back at me when I get ready to sit down. I no longer wake up and dread getting out of bed because my feet and knees hurt. I can play on the floor with my 2 year old cousin. I can go walking with my family after dinner. ”
