Evelyne’s Story
Most of our surgical weight loss patients come back to us and share everyday things that they were not able to do before surgery. We call these “A-ha” moments. These tasks are normally taken for granted by people who have never struggled with weight. Imagine not being able to do something as simple as buckling your seat belt. To our patients, the ability to experience these things without struggle is a true realization.
Making the decision to change your lifestyle isn’t always easy. We congratulate and applaud our weight loss warriors and share their “A-ha” moments with you as inspiration:
“I took third place in Sprint Triathlon Relay for Memphis in May 2015. I am wearing a “medium” top. I am shopping in the “petite” section. I am going out to eat and enjoying the conversation not the food.”
